Shelley is an attorney licensed to practice in Kentucky, assisting clients with estate planning, Medicaid eligibility, asset preservation, trust administration, and probate.
Prior to and during law school, Shelley owned and operated a medical opinion firm where she gained valuable business experience that she relies on when counseling her clients. Shelley is a trained mediator and utilizes that skill set in pro bono work within the community.
Shelley began her law career as a real estate attorney where she assisted clients with closings, title opinions, contracts, and forcible detainer. In 2014, she shifted her focus to estate planning, which eventually led her to elder law. She is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Shelley regularly serves as an attorney educator through her participation in local and national continuing legal education courses. In 2017, she was named by Louisville Business First as one of the 20 People to Know in Law.
